These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern all competitions operated by ClanLoot (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By entering any competition, entrants agree to these T&Cs in full.

1. Promoter Information

All competitions are administered and promoted exclusively by the Promoter.

2. Eligibility


2.1 Competitions are open only to legal residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over.

2.2 Entrants must provide accurate and complete personal details.

2.3 The Promoter reserves the right to refuse or void entries that are incomplete, incorrect, misleading, automated, or tampered with.

2.4 Employees, contractors, family members, or persons professionally connected with ClanLoot are not permitted to enter.

2.5 By entering, entrants confirm they are legally eligible to participate and receive prizes.

3. Competition Structure & Legal Compliance


3.1 Competitions are operated as Prize Competitions or Free Draws and are designed to comply with the Gambling Act 2005.

3.2 Competitions may include:


A skill-based question intended to demonstrate knowledge or judgement, and/or


A free entry route, available to all participants.



3.3 Paid entries do not confer any advantage over free entries.

3.4 All valid entries—paid or free—are treated equally in the final draw.

3.5 These competitions are not lotteries, and no gambling licence is required as long as the criteria under UK law continue to be met.

4. Paid Entry Route


4.1 Paid entries can be made only through www.clanloot.co.uk.

4.2 The entry price is displayed on each competition page.

4.3 To enter, participants must:

a) Select the desired number of entries

b) Answer the skill question correctly (if applicable)

c) Complete checkout with all required personal information


4.4 Only entrants who correctly answer the skill question will be entered into the draw.

4.5 Incorrect answers cannot be refunded and may be treated as a voluntary purchase or donation.

4.6 Entry limits (per person or total) may apply and are clearly stated on the competition page.

4.7 Payment alone does not guarantee entry; the entry must be valid and complete.

5. Free Entry Route


5.1 A free entry route is available for every competition.

5.2 To enter for free, participants must send an email to clanloot@outlook.com with the subject:

“Free Entry – [Competition Name]”

The email must include:


Full name


Postal address


Email address


Phone number


Competition name


Correct answer to the skill question (if applicable)



5.3 Only one free entry per person per competition is permitted unless otherwise stated.

5.4 Free entries must be received before the published closing date.

5.5 Free entries are processed and entered exactly as paid entries would be.

5.6 Incomplete, late, or incorrect free entries will be rejected.

6. Opening & Closing Dates


6.1 Each competition’s opening and closing dates are clearly displayed on the product page.

6.2 Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.

6.3 If all paid entries sell out early, the Promoter may bring the draw date forward.

6.4 If entry numbers are significantly below expectation, the Promoter reserves the right to extend the competition once, for up to 14 additional days.

6.5 The Promoter will not close a competition early without awarding the prize or issuing refunds as required.

7. Winner Selection


7.1 After a competition closes, all valid entries are allocated an entry number.

7.2 A winner is selected using an independent, verifiable random number generator (e.g., Random.org).

7.3 Draws may be broadcast live or published as recorded evidence for transparency.

7.4 The Promoter’s decision is final and binding.

8. Winner Notification & Verification


8.1 Winners will be contacted via email or telephone within 48 hours of the draw.

8.2 Winners may be announced publicly using first name, initial, and general location, unless anonymity is requested.

8.3 Winners must respond within 7 days to confirm acceptance.

8.4 If a winner fails to respond within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to:


Select an alternative winner, or


Take another reasonable action consistent with fairness



8.5 Winners may be required to provide:


Proof of identity


Proof of age


Proof of address



Failure to supply verification may result in disqualification.

9. The Prize


9.1 Each prize is described fully on the respective competition page.

9.2 No cash alternative is offered unless explicitly stated.

9.3 If a prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

9.4 Prizes are delivered to UK addresses only, unless otherwise stated.

9.5 Delivery times may vary; reasonable time must be allowed for fulfilment.

10. Insufficient Entries


If a competition receives significantly fewer entries than anticipated, the Promoter may choose to:


Option A – Proceed with the Draw


A winner will be selected and the advertised prize awarded.


Option B – Extend the Competition (once only)


The closing date may be extended for up to 14 days.


The Promoter will never:


Cancel a competition without legitimate cause


Retain entry fees without awarding a prize or offering refunds

11. Refund Policy


11.1 Refunds will be issued only if a competition is cancelled.

11.2 No refunds will be issued for:


Incorrect answers


Mistaken entries


Abandoned checkouts


Failure to meet eligibility requirements

11.3 All refund decisions are at the Promoter’s discretion, subject to consumer law.

12. Fairness, Security & Fraud Prevention


The Promoter reserves the right to:


Reject or void entries submitted through automated systems or suspicious activity


Block abusive, fraudulent, or disruptive entrants


Withhold prizes pending identity checks


Cancel or modify a competition where technical or security issues occur



Any attempt to manipulate or interfere with the competition will result in immediate disqualification.

13. Data Protection & Privacy


13.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

13.2 Data will be used solely for administering competitions and fulfilling prizes.

13.3 Personal data will not be sold or transferred to third parties, except where necessary for prize fulfilment (e.g., couriers).

13.4 Entrants may request data deletion after the competition concludes.

14. Liability Disclaimer


14.1 The Promoter is not liable for:


Technical failures (internet, payment systems, email delivery)


Lost or delayed free entries


Damage caused by third-party delivery services


Events outside reasonable control (force majeure)



14.2 Nothing in these T&Cs limits statutory consumer rights or excludes liability for fraud or personal injury due to negligence.

15. Governing Law


These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
